PUMASI: A Lasers & Feelings Hack

You are passengers aboard the interstellar ark Nabi. The ship’s cryo tubes have malfunctioned, causing your clan and others to awaken prematurely. With 90 years remaining until your destination, New Earth, you must maintain the ship and its onboard sustainable farms by drawing inspiration from the agricultural customs of communal labor—PUMASI.

PUMASI is a hack of John Harper’s Lasers & Feelings, a one-page tabletop RPG. Each player represents a group of passengers, or a clan, aboard an interstellar ark. PUMASI explores the tensions between loyalty to one’s clan and caring for the greater community.
